Flipcheck won't scan or the camera isn't working
Make sure Flipcheck has camera permission (Settings → Flipcheck → Camera), you have an internet connection, and you're on the latest version of the app. If a scan still fails or hangs, force-quit the app and try again — if it keeps happening, email us with your device model and iOS version.
How does Flipcheck estimate resale value?
Point your camera at an item — sneakers, electronics, apparel, and more — and Flipcheck returns an estimated resale price using machine vision and live marketplace listing data (primarily eBay). Estimates are informational only and are not guarantees of the price you will actually receive.
What's free, and what does Pro include?
Flipcheck includes 5 free scans per day. Flipcheck Pro is an auto-renewing subscription at $9.99/month with a 3-day free trial for new subscribers, and unlocks unlimited scanning and premium features.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID. To manage or cancel, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, select Flipcheck, and cancel. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
I bought a scan credit but it didn't show up
Credits are added right after Apple confirms the purchase, so a slow connection can delay this briefly. Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases — this re-syncs your purchase history and should add the credit. If it's still missing, email us with the date and approximate time of purchase.
Why is my estimate different from what I sold for?
Resale prices vary by condition, authenticity, timing, and platform. Treat estimates as a starting point and cross-check live listings before you buy or sell.
